The Power of Myth
This film was probably the most boring movie I have ever seen. I think it is extremely strange that two people can sit around and talk about imaginary things for an hour. Their analyzations of stories, characters and "heroes" made me want to crush my skull. It is difficult for me to appreciate abstract ideas rather than those of real-life importance. Maybe the next movie will be a hit!

Hi Caitlin
Sorry you missed my lecture on remaining open to different methods of information delivery. You were not alone in your assessment. However..."boring" is a term you should always avoid in this class (and any academic class). Discuss ideas critically rather than emotionally, and don't expect to simply be entertained. Focus on what you notice not whether you like/dislike something. Moyers and Campbell are two great thinkers of the 20th century, and you miss a lot when you dismiss them so easily. Having said this, I should have prepared you for the interview format. Also, please review the requirements for writing journal on your syllabus. Responses should be much longer and include details.
Glad you're back and hopefully feeling better!
Clary
